Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox, who studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Lennox's budget was increased with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied about her performances compared to that of her classmates. She started to think about alternatives. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the lead singer in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. In this band, she met Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva which was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically it was a huge achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues soul tracks from her the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The album is a companion to her album Now I Let it go... art installation which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independently-released album.
